Twitter will tighten up its Political Ad Rules
It’s time to browse through some interesting numbers, even though the numbers might look normal, the curiosity and the freshness of the feature will definitely keep the users awake.
Well, the elections are coming in Europe, India, and Australia while Twitter is getting ready to showcase all kinds of data including the ads time, demographics, targetted audience, total money spent by each candidate and the payee details. All kinds of data will make different kinds of patterns within the users head that might fetch controversies.
Apart from these data showcasing platform called Transparency Center, Twitter has also tightened up the rules. The campaigners will have to apply for certification from Twitter in order to post political based ads and the address should be a EU registered one.
Recent controversies in Russia, Facebook Cambridge analytica etc is resulting in data transparency rules and regulations to be strictly followed by candidates and the social media platforms as well. Yes, it’s going to be interesting for sure.
