Facebook has announced that over 30 million users accounts have been hacked between July 2017 and September 2018. And these hackers have exploited a security breach to steal personal data. At first, the security department of Facebook overestimated the impact of this attack by reporting nearly 50 million accounts.

But then, the company revised the calculations and estimated that just 30 million accounts have been affected. Facebook is also in deep waters for releasing its first hardware at a very wrong time. At a time when everyone is concerned over their data on Facebook, the company released its hardware that has a camera and a microphone that never goes off.
