Google Updates Chrome with a Major Redesign and New Features
Chrome is a browser that can be found everywhere. On our phones, on our desktops, on Chromebooks, and they all work flawlessly. The Chrome browser can very well be the only word that pops up when we hear the word internet. And Google has brought a lot of updates and changes so that it can reach that position.
Google just completed 10 years on the market, and it is celebrating its anniversary the best way possible. The browser has just brought out a major update, and it has already captured the applauses of users from everywhere. Basically, the browser has brought together the perfect combination of a material design and functionality.
Major Redesign
By first look, anyone would be able to differentiate the old chrome browser with a new one. The change is very refreshing, and it can remind anyone easily about the Google mobile applications. Google has been playing with this design language for a while, and so we can be sure that after all the testing, we truly have the right design in our hands.
The new changes are very practical too. The trapezoidal tabs are ditched, and so now the web icons are much easier to notice. Menus have also been redesigned, and a plenty of new features have also been added to drop down menus and options. Another thing that has been changed is the unified search bar, which now shows answers to questions straight from the drop-down menu.
That thus allows answers to be found even without opening a new full tab. The other features that have been added to chrome is a new password manager, that acts as an app too. This new password manager now checks autofill much smarter, and it is far more accurate. Other new options include a whole new redesigned new tab, and also new site shortcuts that appear on the home page.
Neat and Practical
Google Chrome has also brought in many security updates too, and now the security has been further enhanced. All this further propels Google Chrome to be one of the best browsers out there. Google Chrome proves to be effective when used through any device, and any platform. And of course, when coming to Chromebooks, Chrome is the main feature and almost every feature that makes the Chromebook the way it is because of Chrome.
Though Google cannot hope to be the king of the computing world, it is definitely conquering the internet world, and it is doing it with the Chrome app. The Chrome app is also slowly taking over the office world by continuing to offer all the productive Chrome apps that work best with the Google interface or the Google world.
