Drones are flying high with artificial intelligence
Artificial intelligence is not just about the ability of a machine to think, it’s also about the actions a machine could trigger whenever a pre-programmed case happens.
Well, that’s not not to confuse you, but drones are getting too good with artificial intelligence (not very precisely, but yes). When drones became a utility within photographers and cinematographers, the brands like DJI etc started giving more focus on building better drones by solving real world drone problems.
The purpose of these drones was to fly high within a range, to obey the commands given by the user indirectly via the remote control and to take stunning pictures and video footages.
But, Drones
They took all kinds of paths to build the intelligence which could do everything by its own including flying, taking stunning video footages and sometimes staying away from crashing.
The only bad thing about flying drones is crashing. You need to learn some basics or at least have the idea to control a drone without crashing it, a single crash might make the drone completely useless which definitely hurts your pocket.
But these days brands and even research labs are developing more sophisticated drones which are too simple to manage that you don’t have to do anything (literally).
MIT graduates came up with a drone which doesn’t crash (no matter what). The drone is artificially intelligent enough to keep track of the user, take great footages even in a crowded area, and has the ability to navigate without crashing.
That’s indeed a piece of art for sure, the ability to control or not to crash is great, but it couldn’t really satisfy the drone lovers because of the video quality and few other issues like stabilisation.
Drones can take pictures that humans find difficult to capture, they can capture stunning pictures and video footages as well with their insane ability to fly high.
Artificial intelligence is being injected tightly into these upcoming drones and they are improving so rapidly. Every single drone which is being launched these days are coming up with new features powered by artificial intelligence.
It’s time to buckle up and see how the drone industry is going to fly. Even there are drone catching drones to find out the location of a drone flying in an unauthorised area and to catch it by throwing a net on to it.
Interesting are the news, more drones about to fly.
