Amazon Reported To Paying Workers To Describe Good Working Conditions

Companies around the world have been under fire regarding the working conditions of their employees. Few companies have faced the brunt of the fire and have actually made conditions better, and the atmosphere of the workers much more easy to work at. But though there are companies out there who play by rules, there are also some like Amazon who goes the other way around things.

It has been reported that Amazon pays some of its employees to describe the working conditions, and they are always good. And of course, no surprises there since they are basically paid to describe the good working conditions. How did we come to this conclusion?

Multiple accounts managed by Amazon workers were discovered, 15 to be exact. They were very similar as they had a nickname followed by Amazon FC Ambassador. These accounts that are managed by Amazon workers act as witnesses of the working conditions on Amazon. These accounts respond to controversies about the conditions, and they do their part to ensure that everything is going well, and nothing is out of place.

Safety Tweets

Tweets were discovered that said that the worker’s safety and well-being were never threatened, and that was always a priority for the managers in the production units. Tweets were also found which said that the cleanliness of the buildings, the safety, and the benefits are all top notches.

A few tweets went a bit overboard when describing that employees could always go to the bathroom whenever they wanted to. These steps taken by the company are clear indicators that Amazon takes the safety of its employees and buildings very seriously. The company also offers guided tours, where customers every year are allowed to see for themselves how things get done in the distribution centers, and also to see first hand the safety and the hygiene.

Turbulent Times

This is also seen as a statement against the recent controversy over the employee’s working conditions that occurred early this year. During the Amazon Prime Day employees left their workstations to protest against the company to take responsibility for their health, and also to have it ensured.

For now, we hope that Amazon just does not stick to Twitter accounts, but actually take interest in solving matters first hand.
