Google Officially shutting down “Inbox app” by April 2nd
Google had a brilliant application called “Inbox” which was one of the best email management application in stores. Google deployed the Inbox app which helped users manage emails in a more productive way by ticking off emails that’s fully done or snoozing it for a different day. In fact, the app was so smart that it used to alert users about pending emails and more.
The sad news is that the Inbox app is going off by April 2nd, 2019. Interestingly the Gmail app inherited a bunch of microfeatures from the Inbox app which indirectly tells us that Google deployed the Inbox app to test multiple features before launching them on the Gmail application.
This is not the first time Google is taking off applications or services from their pool. Google+ is also leaving the planet by April 2nd, 2019 (you might have received the email already). The good news is that Gmail is getting better and better every day with artificial intelligence and supportive data insights that lets a user understand more about their emails.
