On-Screen Fingerprint Scanners are the future

Fingerprint scanners changed the way we used to unlock our phones. Now almost every new smartphone is coming up with fingerprint scanners at the back or the sides or in-front to give you an extra layer of security.
On Screen?
Yes, vivo (a famous Chinese mobile brand) has come up with a solution to implement on screen fingerprint scanners. They even launched a smart phone with the same feature and it looks brilliant.
Bezels are becoming out of fashion, brands like Apple, Samsung etc are focusing on bringing up bezel less displays without compromising on security. Apple did come up with a small bezel (and a notch) design with the iPhone X which wasn’t really a success as planned.
They omitted the fingerprint scanners and implemented the face ID recognition system which they claim to be the most secure one. The fingerprint scanner usually takes some serious space, so Vivo came up with an on screen solution.
Technology
The tiny chip which you see above is the fingerprint scanner, and vivo is not omitting it, instead they put it behind the screen in a smarter way that nobody can easily spot it out.
If you turn the phone in sunlight and check carefully, you’ll be able to see the scanner under the screen, but not in normal conditions. The scanner is super responsive and the brilliant graphics which they’ve designed is making the process look like a science fiction.
The technology could be adopted by other big brands and Chinese companies as well to maintain the security level with the people’s favorite fingerprint scanners without compromising the bezel-less trend.
It’s definitely going to be the future.
Because fingerprint scanners are smooth and very much comfortable than any other sort of security and protection systems. Fingerprint security is just dope!
